Cicchetti and wine, and you know you’re in Venice. This private tour takes you straight into the city’s iconic bàcari culture (traditional wine bars), guided by your own wine sommelier through three authentic stops over three relaxed hours. At each location, you’ll taste regional wines paired with traditional cicchetti, the small bites that Venetians enjoy throughout the day. Along the way, your sommelier will share the stories, ingredients, and pairings that make this ritual such a defining part of Venetian life.

The tour runs in all weather conditions — rain, sun, or hail — so please dress appropriately for the season.

My husband and I did the Cicchetti tour in Venice with Cecilia and the 4 Roman Pasta cooking class with Cristina. These were the highlights of our trip. Cecilia was so kind. We had a great time talking with her as well as trying authentic cicchetti paired with excellent wine. This would be a top recommendation for anyone visiting Venice. Cristina was awesome, and we have said that the pasta we made was some of the best food we ate on our trip. We enjoyed this class and are planning on trying to recreate the dishes at home! I would highly recommended Local Aroma tours and cooking classes. Such a great way to experience Italy!
